Description: Organic Erythritol 500g comes from the family of polyalcoholes (alcohol sugar) used as a substitute for sugary flavors. It is naturally produced in fermented fruits and foods. Erythritol is between 60% and 70% as sweet as table sugar, sucrose; it can be considered non-caloric, does not increase blood glucose, does not cause teeth to fall, and is partially absorbed by the body. For the latter reason, it has no side effects on the intestinal tract.
Uses: Used as a calorie-free sweetener to help replace calories from carbohydrates and sugars in packaged foods and beverages. In addition to providing sweetness, erythritol also helps food retain moisture.
