Red Maca is a tuber similar in shape to a radish, native to the highlands of Peru and Bolivia, where it is grown at high altitudes. It is said to have aphrodisiac and invigorating effects, but this plant has many other more interesting therapeutic and nutritional benefits such as increasing your energy and vitality, allowing you greater physical and mental endurance. It is also a powerful hormone regulator. Some properties of maca:
