This culinary golden red is an essential part of any pantry that manages to create extraordinary dishes. Take a look at some of the most delicious potatoes cooked in record time. With a little paprika, the result will be incredible.
Paprika is a red-coloured condiment that can add a very special touch to a number of dishes and culinary preparations. In reality, it is nothing more than a variety of red pepper, previously dried and ground, with which we can obtain an ingredient that can enhance the flavour of our dishes.
1. For this recipe we will use classic or golden-colored sweet potatoes, perfect for roasting or in preparations like these that do not require peeling.
2. These sweet potatoes go straight into the oven. The first step is to preheat them to 180° while we prepare all the ingredients.
3. Once we have washed and dried the sweet potatoes, we will cut them in half. Ideally, one sweet potato per person, although if they are very small we can cut two.
4. We are going to cut the sweet potatoes in a lattice shape so that they absorb all the flavors much better.
5. Prepare the spices in a bowl. To give this ingredient the greatest possible intensity, add two tablespoons of olive oil.
6. We are going to add a little garlic powder. Of course, if we like this ingredient, we peel and chop some garlic cloves and mix them with the oil.
7. Add half a tablespoon of oregano and dried parsley. The same system as with garlic can be used fresh and chopped, although it is always advisable to have some dried herbs in the pantry.
8. It's time for one of the main dishes on the menu. We can choose the one we like best. We're going to add a little sweet paprika and half a spoonful of hot pepper to give these potatoes a very special touch.
9. Mix until you get a sauce and spread it directly on the sweet potatoes. You can add more oil to make it looser.
10. Bake the sweet potatoes at 200º for about 20 minutes. Spread the mixture over them again and bake for another 20 minutes. They are ready, a dish with an impressive flavour.
Finally, we add a pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt to create a greater contrast between the sweet and the salty.
The perfect accompaniment to any meat, fish or dish to suit each person's taste.
