Brownie recipe with erythritol

If you are a chocolate lover, we present you this recipe for a brownie with erythritol, different from the one you already know of this classic American dessert. As more and more of us are concerned about our diet, we propose this healthier alternative.

Ingredients of the brownie recipe with erythritol

150g butter

150g organic erythritol

40g organic ground cocoa

2 eggs

1 pinch of salt

50g of wheat flour

Nuts (to taste) OPTIONAL

Chocolate (drops, baking, etc.) OPTIONAL

Elaboration

First, melt the butter in the microwave. Once it is liquid, add the erythritol. and cocoa. Stir with a whisk until the ingredients are well combined (the consistency should be like melted chocolate). Allow to cool for a few minutes so that the mixture loses heat before adding the eggs. Then, mix them in with the whisk.

To add the flour, it is best to sift it, either beforehand or while adding, to prevent lumps from forming.

Add the pinch of salt and, at this stage, instead of using the whisk, stir with a spatula, preferably silicone, since now the dough will become very thick and will stick to the whisk.

Once all the ingredients are mixed, it is time to add the walnuts, whole or chopped, as you prefer, and mix again.

This quantity is suitable for a 20 x 20 cm mould or similar. The mixture can be poured into the mould on baking paper or greased and floured beforehand.

Before putting it in the oven, you can sprinkle a few drops of chocolate on top, which will give it an extra touch.

Bake at 180º C, at medium height, for 25-30 minutes. The total time will depend on each oven, but we recommend that you start watching it after 20 minutes, since for the brownie to have its characteristic texture, it does not have to be completely cooked: it should look cooked on the outside, but remain moist on the inside (you can check when you stick a toothpick in it and it comes out moist or with traces of dough).

And now we have our erythritol brownie recipe ready, enjoy!

Note: We can change the Erythritol for another sweetener to your liking, we offer you these sweeteners .
